The 165th Reunion is a landmark celebration of brotherhood, legacy, and the enduring spirit of Dale. 

From 7–10 May 2026, Old Dalians from across generations will return to honour 165 years of Dale, reconnect with lifelong friends, and contribute to the future of our two schools and the community of Qonce.

The 165th Reunion is not only a celebration of Dale’s past but a commitment to its future. Whether you are returning to relive your school days, reconnect with your classmates, or contribute to Dale’s future, the 165th Reunion promises to be a memorable and meaningful occasion.

The special significance of the 165^th Reunion is highlighted by:

• Welcoming Dr Peter Hon-Chun Hsu (Class of 1986) as the Special Guest of Honour, whose achievements reflect the national pride, global impact and excellence of Dale men. 
• The arrival of the Cycle Tour team after their extraordinary 1,031km cross-country journey from Cape Town, undertaken to raise R1.65 million for the ODU Multipurpose Community Centre project. An initiative that will serve future generations and stand as a lasting legacy of the ODU’s values in action that is in support of Dale’s future.
• The ultimate inter-class showdown, where returning classes compete for bragging rights and the title of Best Returning Class of the 165th Reunion on the bowling greens.
• Following the traditional Reunion sports fixtures, all staff, Old Boys, Friends of Dale, and members of the Dale Supporters Club are invited to gather in true Dale spirit. This relaxed and festive gathering is an opportunity to reconnect, celebrate the day’s matches, share stories, and strengthen the lifelong bonds that connect Dale and Qonce.
